Beauft’ s c 21 Jnr 1815 – typeset straight-line
FLS with Beaufort, SC typeset straight-line cancel, rated at 12 ½ and going to Lt. Col. Robert Hayne in Charleston. Letter refers to a financial transaction. The letteer is datelined January 21, 1815 which is 15 days earlier than the listing in the American Stampless Cover Catalog.  This letter is in a marvelous state of preservation considering that it is almost 200 years old. Beauft’ s c 3 Feb 1815 – typeset straight-line
FLS with Beaufort, SC typeset straight-line cancel, rated at 18 ¾ and going to Lt. Col. Robert Hayne in Charleston. Letter refers to a financial transaction. This marking is three days earlier than the listing copy in the American Stampless Cover Catalog. This letteer is in a marvelous state of preservation considering that it is almost 200 years old. We have nice post war balance lot of covers from Ashepoo Ferry, Green Pond and Beaufort. There are between 40 and 45 covers and postal cards from 1870 through the 1920’s.
