Catalogue of the Crawford Library of Philatelic Literature at the British Library
The Printer’s Stone 1991 reprint edition of the 1911 book along with the 1926 and 1938 supplement. There is also a new preface by D. R. Beech. The book used for this reprint is Sir Edward D. Bacon's personal copy which has a few manuscript corrections and a number of notes, was used to produce the reprint edition of 500 copies. Originally published at $185.00, we have one copy left at $150.00.

NATIONAL PHILATELIC MUSEUM Booklets
The National Philatelic Museum, in Philadelphia at Broad and Diamond Streets was the brainchild of banker and collector Bernard Davis. It opened on December 5th, 1948. For the next ten years it hosts many philatelic exhibitions, and even offered a curriculum in philately in concert with Temple University. During it’s glory years it published a total of 36 booklets that pertained to the various exhibitions and the social side of philately. A partial list of the booklets subject matter includes: France, Airpost, Pan-American, Bavaria, Germany, NSW, Switzerland, Ben Franklin and American Philatelic Congress. Hawaii – Its Stamps and Postal History

John D. Pope’s Custom Elbe Pages
We have two lots of 100 pages that we purchased a few years ago from Elizabeth Pope. They were custom made for John by Elbe and fit a Governor album (page size: 9 ½” wide by 11 ½” tall). They are on heavy card stock, gilded on the age ends, and have the unique Elbe linen hinge. One lot has a thin double rule border; the other has the Scott National border. The Postage Stamps of the United States – Deluxe ¼ Leather Edition
By John N. Luff, 1902, 417p, deluxe ¼ leather binding with pocket in the back holding the photo plates. One of the bibles for the study of classic U. S. postage stamps. The deluxe copies were probably produced in England since it was not legal to illustrate our postage stamps at that point in time. This copy has some minor wear on the edges of the spine. This is also some very minor foxing on the page ends. However, this book is in very fine condition for a book that is over 100 years old. It is still a show piece. Copy no. 40 of 50. A pristine copy would sell for $1,000.00 or more today. This copy, which (Ex-Drews) is cosigned to us and is priced at $795.00.
