Large die proof, which is cut down, pulled on india paper and
still affixed to the original card blotter. The
die number "1030" can be found at the bottom. Since a full size example
will sell for $2,500.00 this one is very affordable at $995.00

Pan-Pacific Small Die Proof
This is an extraordinary copy of this rare proof which was
pulled on wove paper. The paper is slightly toned. The toning is
probably a result of storing these proofs in high sulfur content kraft
envelopes. Our records only cite three other copies in private hands.

Gray trial color Die I plate proof on india paper block of
four. There is a small thin in the top left proof. However, in 38 years
of collecting and dealing in essays and proofs this is the first
un-cancelled trial color india paper block that we have ever
encountered. The great collections of the past: Allen, Russo, and
Metzger did not have one. A great rarity. Ex-Fosdyke-Ray. $2,500.00
73TC Light Blackish-Brown on .0059" card.
This is the only know example
of this trial color plate proof. It is considerably thinner than the
Atlanta printing. It exhibits the Die III, star on check characteristic
which indicates it came from the re-issue plate number 57. Minor scuff

Note: The Black Jack trial color plate proofs on india were all produced
from a plate made using Die I. They were originally had card backing. Most examples that exist today have been removed from the card and have
been thinned in the removal process. The examples listed here are sound and quite scarce thus. Those with faults are grouped at the end of this
listing.
