First Bureu Issue

First Bureau Die Proofs
Four different First Bureau die proofs pulled on india paper and die sunk on card blotter. Each is signed by “James Kennedy” and “Worked over by G.F.C. Smile”. Both men were involved with engraving the issue. These first appeared on the market in the 1990 Siegel sale of the Brazer collection. Fresh and clean with brilliant colors.
