Visit Our Booth at the ASDA Mega Event
in New York City, April 6th Thru the 9th
This is our first show back in New York City since the Fall Mega Event in 1998. Our booth number will be 132 and is located toward the back of the show along the left wall as you enter the show. Please stop by and say hello. We will have our entire stock of essays and proofs, postal history, fancy cancels and a wide assortment of United States literature at our booth. Please call by April 4th if you want us to bring a special title along: (847) 215-1231.
We should mention, by the way, that these ASDA shows that are now taking place at the Show Piers at the New York Passenger Ship Terminal (Pier 92) are turning our to be terrific events. Visitors to the events think they're a wonderful venue for a stamp show—including adjacent parking facilities that cost far less than normal NY prices. And close by is the fabulous USS Intrepid Aircraft Carrier Museum which is one of Manhattan's #1 tourist sites. If you haven't yet made it to an ASDA "Show Piers" Mega Event, do make it a point to attend this one. Given that it's spring, the weather should be just great.
This will be our first show at The Show Piers. The entrance to the show is on 55th Street and 12th Avenue. Show hours are Thursday through Saturday, 10 AM to 5 PM and Sunday, 10 AM to 4 PM. There is a free shuttle bus service from Penn Station starting at 9:30 AM each day. The pick up location is on 31st Street between 7th and 8th Avenues in front of the green awning.
There is a 200-frame World Series of Philately competition sponsored by the APS, two first day ceremonies on Thursday, over 150 dealers, postal administrations, clubs and societies, plenty of free lectures, and of course a wonderful interactive kids' area. This year's show also hosts the annual convention of the Postal History Society.
If you have some material or a collection that you've lost interest in, bring it along. We are in a position buy and always in need of material for our growing base of clients.
