Our lead story...

We will have booth no. 26 at Chicagopex in Hall D, on first floor, of the Rosemont Exposition Center in Rosemont, Ill on River Road this coming weekend. There is convenient parking just across the street and plenty of hotel rooms (Holiday Inn and Rosemont Suites) all within easy walking distance. This is Chicago's premiere stamp show sponsored by the Chicago Philatelic Society. It is one of the largest APS Champion of Champions qualifying shows with over 300 frames of exhibits.

We will have plenty of new material from postal history to essays and proofs, fancy cancels to philatelic literature. Our booth will also feature a large selection of world wide literature.

Chicagopex offers plenty of seminars, outstanding exhibits over 90 dealers from all parts of the United States and the Richard E. Drews Philatelic Auction.

The auction will feature Don Evans' grand award winning 1c 1861-67 Collection along with many wonder lots of mint and used U.S. starting with a unused no. 1. There are also a large number of bulk lots and a U.S. collection to be offered intact and estimated at $25-30,000. Find out more about the Don Evans' collection on the back page.

WE HAVE BOOTH NO. 336 AT THE FALL ASDA MEGA EVENT IN THE GALLERIA OF THE JACOB K. JAVITS CONVENTION CENTER IN NEW YORK CITY, NOVEMBER 19-22. This is the last big show of the year. The fall ASDA show is usually the largest with over 100 dealers from all over the U.S., Canada and Europe. The demand for better U.S. material is strong even with an abundant supply in the market place. Auction prices are strong for premium material. No doubt this bring out large crowds in search of elusive items for their collections. We hope to see many of you in either Chicago or New York. Please stop by even if its just to chat.
