APS StampSHOW 2001 Comes to Chicago, August 23th - 26th

StampSHOW is just a week and a half away. It will be held in Hall G of the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center (formerly the Rosemont Convention Center). The dates and times are: Thursday, August 23rd through Saturday, August 25th, 10 AM - 6 PM and Sunday, August 26th, 10 AM - 4 PM. The expo center is located at 5555 North River Road in Rosemont. You will find parking directly across the street from the show site. There is a skyway linking the parking lot with the expo center.

StampSHOW presents an annual unparalleled buying opportunity with over 150 dealers from 30 different states, Canada and Europe. We will have our entire stock of United States essays and proofs, postal history, fancy cancels and a nice selection of philatelic literature available for you to peruse. If you would like to see a specific literatutre title please give us a call at (847) 215-1231 or e-mail us at philately2@earthlink.net prior to Tuesday, August 24th.

StampSHOW will provide you with an over dose of philatelic experiences. There will be three separate first day ceremonies, auctions by Regency Stamps Ltd. and Jacques C. Schiff, Jr., many society meetings and seminars and off course 150 competitive exhibits plus the Champion of Champions competition.

All advance orders of Tony Wawrukiewicz new book, The Forwarding of Mail by the U.S. Post Office Department 1792 -2001, have been shipped. If you haven't yet ordered this amazing new book an order form accompanies this special edition of our newsletter. Please specify if you want an autographed copy. The autographed copies will be shipped on Tuesday, August 28.

Tony will be available at our booth (No. 322) at StampSHOW on Saturday, August 25 between 2 and 3 PM to autograph copies of his book. You will be able to purchase the book at that time. We will also have copies of Tony's other two books available for purchase. They are: U.S. Domestic Postal Rates: 1872-1999 and U.S. International Postal Rates: 1872-1996.
